You bring up a great topic. However, I think people get Gods love mixed up with deserving his blessing. We know God loves us unconditionally b/c of His Grace, however doing what he calls us to do and obeying his will is how we receive His Blessings!

That's true, but according to the way the world operates people need to do something in order to deserve love.

We're called to be in the world but not of it, and sometimes that requires bringing up obvious questions and looking through our motivations and our thought processes.

The realization that He just loves us probably isn't one that everyone really gets right away.
